Our Story

In 2019, our co-founder, Bushra E Anjum, found herself in a tough spot while at Jamuna Future Park. Amidst her busy day, her period caught her off guard, but the search for mere period supplies turned into a futile quest. It was a stark realization of the unspoken challenges surrounding healthcare emergencies and hygiene care in Bangladesh.

With no options in sight, she embarked on a 4-kilometer journey to her mother-in-law’s house in H-Block, Bashundhara, desperate for essential hygiene products. But what if even that had not been an option? It was this moment of vulnerability that ignited a spark within her, prompting her to envision a better solution for all facing similar emergencies.

But these solutions had to be brought to life. Mushfiqur Rahman Saad, our other co-founder, envisioned using data and technology to empower users with frugal innovation in healthcare technology to solve similar emergencies faced by Bushra and millions of others out there.

Thus, the seeds of Shapla were sown by Bushra and Mushfiq, fueled by a passion to alleviate the silent struggles of employees, workers, and students alike.

Crucial Role of Compliance

Many dream of receiving support from their companies or institutions during personal and professional difficulties, especially during health emergencies.  For employees, workers, and students, the ordeal of stepping out to procure emergency medications and hygiene essentials can exact a heavy toll, both mentally and professionally.

Enterprises and educational bodies that prioritize the upkeep of emergency medications and hygiene provisions cultivate an environment of care and support, nurturing a culture that values the well-being of its members.

Compliance with recognized standards like OSHA, ISO 45001, GMP, ISO 9001, and Education Board Accreditations serves as the cornerstone of this commitment, ensuring not only individual welfare but also bolstering the organization's integrity, standing, and brand resonance.
